The Road Less Traveled-Abstract Mixed Media Assemblage on Board, is part of the Remnant Series which uses found objects acquired during my many scavenger hunts around the City of Detroit. It pays homage to a more vibrant and industrial city full of life and energy. Known as the Motor City, Detroit was home to me for more than 40 years and sparked my artistic endeavors by way of its vital and exciting arts community.
The Road Less Traveled was featured in the "Visions of Detroit" exhibit that was held at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, Detroit, MI in February 2020.
